No salvation for the series, but still entertaining.

The shocker is that this critically-bashed sequel is above average through my eyes. Perhaps it is because I choose to see it as a stand-alone movie. When comparing it to the first two installments of the series, it is quite weak. What is particularly amusing is watching newcomer Sam Worthington steal the spotlight from an underused Christian Bale.
