Terminator Salvation: Review By trang

The film didnt really grab me like others. Im not comparing.. just on its own merit.

The story was the weakest part.. Skynet was to simple minded..it didnt really mesh from the original.. John Connor was less than I expected, competant but less.

The marcus character wasnt necessary and didnt make much sense.. in relation to the original story. Especially when they are in Skynet and the arnold terminator comes out naked.. it was comical at that point.

If the aim was complete reboot of the series... well it was way the hell off. If it was to pick up where it left off... again missed the mark.

If it was to just walk in, pick up a story and move ahead to two more films... I guess I can wait for those next two films direct to DVD.

Looking to transformers to hopefully make the summer movie season worthwhile.
