So one of the most awaited films of the year...T4 is on it’s way and fans are dying with anticipation to catch a glimpse of T-800 wreckage, luckily for me there was a early screening in my hometown and i booked out a week in advance only to find out i was the second last ticket. Though personally i feel this is the sleeper hit of the year while some people are expecting it to be a piece of rust compared to the others(since there were dull enough to say “it don’t have Arny in it”). It’s time the series went somewhere , it did, i love McG take on the series because he’s made what would be a typical 1990’s crew of heroes into an in-depth cast who while when watching the film feel the struggle in which they are in.
T4 or as i call it The Salvation Re-incarnation, something that had me by surprise (it has a plot twist which has you by surprise, though trailer watchers will notice where the trailer spoils). For one, i can say this won’t be the last because there are plenty to come in Connors battle against Skynet, the action is at an all time high where basically breathing is impossible(It’s a terminator movie what do you expect....) which beats the scale of the last set.
Christian bale who has recently been in trouble (betraying fans out there downed him) has had a fair performance as Connor, not that i am saying he’s sh*t in the film, he does this as best as anyone, i thought his performance was fair because the effort he put in was very Batman related (yep the voice to), nothing new in his case but that may be the only downside to the film. Sam Worthington offers a glimpse to us in his future career(can’t wait for Avatar) because he is showing that he’s not just another young pretty boy breaking in but simply an actor who is ready to go all the way, his character Marcus has Connor teaming up with towards the end(on and off relationship). The rest of the supporting cast are up and comers, Moon Bloodgood has a different female performance she is relaxed and free going which i thought you never normally see in woman actresses these days, Common kick ass in the film as Barnes offering a highly dedicatedness to Connor. Anton yelchin (yep the kid from Star Trek) is the key piece to the story so keep an eye out on him. McG has become a respectable in my book, whom i never thought had what it takes to make a movie of the scale after the disappointing Charlies Angel films, his vision has made the series worth while another go especially making me wash out the memory of T3 completely from my memory files.
All in all it delivers on what could be the unexpected big hit of the year, a story which is mind twisting and provoking one which looks at a dark future which may happen, McG making the characters in the film feel like something more than just people, but people in a fight that seems inevitable, one or two cameos in it(one very big one). There will be a sequel no doubt, the war isn’t over, so I can’t’ wait to see it a second time.
Terminator Salvation get’s all time praise for me for quadrilogies, and making me see what real writing is that twists the mind (Courtesy Jonathan Nolan), it’s more than just an action film it’s a futuristic psychological thriller epic.

Agree to disagree, but I think you are freakin crazy! Worst sequel since Indiana Jones 4 & Indiana Jones 4 was the worst sequel since.......forever! Catch my drift?
I am not attacking you personally I am attacking McG! But this movie was horrible on so many levels I hardly know where to start. McG is a complete and utter hack! The story was unbelievably lame, completely one dimensional in comparison to it's 1st and 2nd predecessors! For everyone giving this movie positive reviews (which is shocking but to each his own), If you think that a few explosions and over the top/cheesy as hell special effects with zero character development and a rushed, choppy and lame story makes for a great movie, then I guess it is a testament as to how short current generations of film lover's attention spans have become! Perhaps you are just too young to remember the days when movies actually needed a story for people to be entertained! THIS MOVIE IS SHIIIIITTTT!!!!

This movie looks really awesome! I hope I see this in theaters, and I hope Christian Bale does a great job in this movie just like he did in "The Dark Knight!"
