With 3 films prior to this 4th instalment terminator salvation has alot of expectation to live up to though T3 wasnt exactly wht fans wanted to see the first 2 films are among some of the best si fi action films ever made bringin us one of stan winstons finest and scariest creations. Now being a fan of this franshise i was looking forward to seeing the battle between humans and skynet finally portrayed on to the big screen. while going in to see this movie with an open mind and forgeting all the negative reviews i did happen to feel satisfied with the outcome, though the movie isn't perfect it does deliver some very entertaining action scenes and alot of cool special effects. the movie is very well directed Mcg is a born action director. and as for the acting its pretty good, bale and sam are great on screen anton also did a gd job portraying a much more a younger kyle reece. i also liked the story element in this one it had 2 seprate stories goin on, 1 being of how john conner becomes the leader of the resistance and the other about marcus wright coming to terms with his new world and how they both comes together. now as action movies go this is top notch but thats just the problem as an action movie it is gd but its not a terminator movie it just dosent create the feel or tension the 1st 2 movies had sure its ment to be different its a war film but i still think that the problem most people will hav wiv this movie, that and there being no arnold... well there is just not how uve seen him before i would have also liked them to use the original score more to. overall terminator salvation is a fast, fun, and entertaining summer blockbuster though it does have its flaws its much better than the previouse instalment if your a fan of the seris check it out you might like it you might not you never know but one things for sure the big screen is definetly how its ment to be seen thanx for reading.

Isn't this what they now term as a reboot or something, re-launching in a way something that has already been established but with a whole new cast? Out of all of these, at least the approach is a little different and they just didn't remake but moved it forward. I find it interesting you term it as a war film, which actually sounds quite appealing. I have avoided this so far due to the lack of Arnold but I might give it a try after reading your review.
