This is simply the best action thriller I've seen in 2009, and it's as great as "The International!"

Ex-military soldier Bryan Mills (LIAM NEESON) goes to his daughter's 17th Birthday Party to give her a present. Kim (MAGGIE GRACE), Bryan's now 17-year-old daughter, wants to be a singer; so her father gives her a guitar for a present during the party.

While having fun with excitement, Kim talks to her father about going to Paris with her friend Amanda to stay there for a worldwide tour of Europe for a long while. He decides to let her go alone now that she's an older teenager. The two teenagers arrive in Paris and they move into a new room in a french hotel.

But things get worse when Kim is on the phone with her father and then she sees a bunch of masked men kidnapping Amanda, so she hides underneath her bed still on the phone with Bryan until she gets kidnapped too! Still online on the phone, Bryan says, "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But if you don't let my daughter go, I will look for you. I will find you. And I will kill you."

"Good luck," says the french kidnapper on the phone before hanging up.

Bryan now arrives in Paris and is now on the trail of the organization to find her daughter and bring her back home safe and sound so she can still become a singer. The movie gets better!

That's my review for "Taken."
