Keanu Reeves stars as a risk-taking cop who searches for the killers of his EX-Partner in this 2008 action/drama called "Street Kings". This movie wasn't bad...but it definatly wasn't great either. The movie has a couple of cool action scenes and the acting wasn't all that bad, BUT, this movie really only deserves about three stars. I enjoyed this but to me, this movie was a little to blank and dull at times. It got boring and then interesting...but the movie was mostly boring. I mean, how many times do we have to see this same cop movie with different actors? They're all becoming the same pretty much! I've seen movies sort of like this! Fresh up a little bit and bring us something new for Gosh Sakes! The movie only gets much better in the last half hour but that was what stopped me from giving this two point five stars instead of three.

THE GOOD:

The good of this movie other than the ending and the acting was the visuals. The visuals were pretty good but there wasn't enough action to have loads of great visual effects.

THE BAD:

As I already siad, the movie is really dull and boring in the first, I don't know, hour. Some things were interesting, BUT, a lot, also, wasn't!

ACTING:

The acting in this movie did not bother me. Keanu Reeves NOR Forest Whitaker usually never bother me in a movie. Hugh Lauire is an amazing actor and Chris Evans isn't that bad either. Keanu Reeves is in other movies such as "The Matrix", "The Matrix Reloaded", "The Matrix Revolutions", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Point Break", and more. Forest Whitaker is in other movies such as "The Last Kind of Scotland", "Vantage Point", and "Panic Room". Hugh Laurie is the amazing Dr. House on "House". Chris Evans is in other movies such as "Fantastic Four", "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", "Push", "Sunshine" and more.

DIRECTION:

The direction is good but I thought the movie was a little too stiff at times so I had to rate the directing a four.

VISUALS:

As I said, the visuals were good but they didn't have enough for me to really want to get excited about them. I liked the visuals and I'll rate them at a four point five rating.

OVERALL:

Overall, this movie is a C-. Its not great and its not horrible. Its just average. I did expect a little more from this when I saw trailers when it came out. But, three stars is all this brung for me. So, all and all, three stars, C-.
