Much better than the god awful Street Figther back in the 90's

remember Street figther the movie starring Jon Claun Van Damme?boy,thats was gay,but this one is a much better

improved version of street figther and

a actually good one.

the story tells the origins of Chun-Li,the story is pretty strong,because

Capcom never gave origins on Chun-Li and they finally have.The reason im

not telling you the whole story is that

it contains huge spoilers and i dont wanna ruin it for ya.The script is also

well done delivering no moronic one liners than the god awful original.

The figth choreagraphy is tight and intense,they played the game on how

cool can they make those fight scenes

badass and they done it,unlike the original Street Figther movie that have

sloppy choreagraphy.The visuals are cool,i like how gorgeaous the fireballs

look like in the film,but one question,since when the hell did Chun-Li fired some fireballs in her hand?!?!.

The acting is near perfect,the actress who played Chun-Li did wonderfully with

the film's character Chun-Li and the guy from Desperate Housewifes as M.Bison was just f*cking great on the role.

Street Figther The Legend Of Chun-Li is an awesome movie game,if the original ruined your SF life,then this one will return all of your charms of street figther back to u!STREET FIGTHER 4 LIFE!!!!!!.

    I've never played the games...I haven't seen the original movie...but I am SO itching to check this out online because I'm in the mood to bash the hell out of a sh*tty movie. It might even compel me to start smoking...I think if I grab a bong while watching this movie I'll have a much better experience

    Just because it's a movie site doesn't mean you don't have to spell properly. You're basically saying that movie fanatics are idiots and don't need to use proper grammar. "hey i love movies and dropped out of high school to follow a career of chatting online" Get real. It won't kill you to press space or a comma on your keyboard, especially in reviews. Reviews are meant to inform people and if we can't understand them, what good are they? Just wanted to put my 2 cents in since it got brought up

    Thanks Davon,the problem is that Street Figther is a figthing game
    and you can't translate figthing games in very good movies,which is kinda of a shame cause there's lots of figthing films that rocked.

    Great review! I look at it like this, So far some people bomb this movie and the last one and I think no matter how much they try to revive the francise on screen, people are gonna dislike it.
    Since they took it to a more reality approach I think its only right that M.Bison dons a suit otherwise people would of been like "I don't know if he should be in his armor in a movie like this". Its hard to try to please the audiance, thats why the director and producer of this film took it upon themselves to take it to a different direction. If you ask me I think its kinda hard to make a great street fighter film but I'm glad you like it.

    Reading your 'review' just made me throw up into my mouth a little bit. You should go and invest in Hooked On Phonics before ever typing anything in a public forum again.

    Who would take your review seriously if you can't even spell the title correctly? You should be ashamed of your attempt (unless of course my theory of you being a love child of the Waterboy and Rain Man is true, in which case you are excused).

    And just another one, it is not a fireball it is their Chi. An energy force released through their bodies. Chun-li will definitely refine the move and wll call it "Kikouken".

    This is the origin of Chun-li. If you will review Chun-li's origin, During the ALpha series she is already a police officer in China and hongkong where she wear her Alpha series costume. The claasic SF II outift on the other hand is first used when she entered Interpol and used it during tournaments.

    On the case of Bison, his SF II persona is yet to be unfold on the next movies. According to the movie he got an incurable disease during his early years but survived. I have a gut feeling that he is still alive despite his neck being twisted.

    Balrog's story is not really explained before since he is one of the least played character on the game. His boxingcareer in Vegas could be just a front and in the movie, he is still not a boxer.

    But I have only one objection in this movie. WHy the hell they decided to get Taboo play the Narcissistic Masked Spanish ninja Vega. Taboo may look spanish but god he is way to far the word Beautiful.

    yeah,this one has its faults,but i played street figther since i was 9 my friend and yea balrog shooting a gun was f*cking stupid and Bison in a business suit?!i was like why they dint made a better costume for bison than a business suit?!and i know the origins of Chun-Li and her father and yes,Gin being his master.The only thing im bad at playing Chun-Li in the video games is that i dont know how throw fireballs.I watched this movie
    on a website called Watch-Movies.com,thats were sometimes i see movies for my own pleasure.

    Chun li's past has always been explained through the videogames, anyone who's been avidly following the franchise already knows about her father and gen being her master.

    Also, how could you not know chun li throws fireballs? YOu hold back then foward punch. Have you ever played street fighter?

    Besides, i don't think you ever watched this film, it's worse than the original sf movie, at least that one had the characters' costumes, f*cking Bison wears a business suit!? And balrog shooting a gun... need i say more?
