for me this was a way of speech to show the people of America that maybe they do not live in such a free country as they thought.

stop loss is or seems to be a legal way of conscripting and that once your in;there's no turning back.

the film itself as it stands as a war film is very disappointing as for of recent releases such as IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH,GUY X,this is of no way near the standard.when i say this i mean it lacks....intensity,character,soul.

the choice of picking a cast of average acting talent i suppose works in a film like this as its the message they are trying to get across not the idea that you are watching yet just another mediochre war film.
