A great film with a Horrible ending

I watched this film today. I never read the story that king wrote. What i watched today was very well directed and the actors where amazing the creatures where very thought. I am going to say that if the producers want to sell this in DVD format they will have to have an alt ending. I saw this film with 47 other people in that showing and all of them said they hated the ending so I wasn't the only one. Don't believe me go see for your self no spoilers here.

Other than the ending I had a great time in the Mist.

    I don't know if all horror movies are supposed to have a sad endings. I love horror movie's don't get me wrong but I also Like a Ending to be an ending. Watch it it has no closure. Its just WTF. I love horror movies I really do but there's a lot out there that really suck. This is not one of those movies I really wouldn't call it a horror movie it is really a scifi popcorn flick. Directing was very well done acting also. But what it comes down to is do your main characters survive all the film to escape what ever the threat is or do the characters have no reason to survive. I have a lot of questions about this film. You have people who fight and fight to the end all to????????????

    I will say this again a good film has to have an opening, climax, and an ending( closing of the story that results in a final view, opinion, or closure.

    I have read the book, very good. I also just want to ask why is everyone hating the ending, its a horror movie, its supposed to have a sad ending, if it's like the movie Silent Hill, i'm all on board because I loved that ending as well, Awesome.
