The animation is very stylized, you can see it especially in the hair of the human characters, but that's a smart decision as not even Pixar has figured out how to make people look realistic. So a unique style is a good way to go. Sure a lot of the voices are new people, but that is to be expected.
Having the Separatists & the republic needing Jabba was a nice touch. I'm glad they continued the political & trade dispute that was established in Phantom Menace. The republic wasn't rescuing Jabba's son because they are moral but because it was necessary. I thought it was an interesting way to show us something new while keeping things familiar so that we can then move on into the tv show. I'm glad Jabba didn't speak basic & had a protocol droid translate everything he said.
Some of the negative reviews about this movie make no sense, they are based on reveals of previously unknown information like "Jabba doesn't have a son" & Anakin didn't have a Padawan" those are just stupid criticisms. Movies always reveal things we didn't know. Some people just don't pay attention. Jabba's mate was shown in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace when Jabba announced the start of the pod race. Sure, Ahsoka is annoying but that's the point: to give Anakin someone as annoying & arrogant as he is, to teach him some humility.
Now, I'm looking forward to watching the tv show.

The TV show is great! They've gotten better in story, writting, acting, and animation. About Ahsoka, she is a lot better now. Once you get used to her she becomes much more mature and like able.
