Classic but not for 3D

I am a huge Star Wars fan. I have gone to every relase since i was born. So I would not miss this opportunity. Plus now I can take my kids like my father took me. So as far as Star Wars on the BIG SCREEN....it rocked. Nothing like seeing it like this. However, this movie was not made for 3D so for it being 3D it sucked. Nothing flew off screen cause then they made the movie nothing flew at the screen. The light sabors did not pop out at you or off the screen. The only thing that is 3D is the people from the environment. Thats really all i saw. It did look awesome but still a big let down. I dont know if it could have been done better without redoing the sceens. So if you have a chance see it cause its Star Wars but dont get your hopes up about the 3D.

    i thought the 3d worked well for it..but if he had "done more" with it for 3d lucas would have been hated more because he would be "Re-tweaking" them for another release....now to all the haters who have bought the blu rays..bought every other release of the films and seen phantom menace in 3d..the soulution to your crisis is simple..we all vote by participation..so if you do not like it boycott it, don't buy it, don't watch it, don't rent it,otherwise your being hypocritical and condoning what you think is wrong by contributing to it.

    yeah but that is all there was. When i go to see a 3D movie i want it to jump off the screen at me. They could have done so much more. Like I said the movie will always rock but the 3D sucked.

    The didn't want anything to fly off the screen, they were using the 3D to add to the depth of the background, which worked wonders in many scenes.
