Star Trek: Review By John2347

J.J. Abrams new Star Trek has done an excellent job of bringing the classic Enterprise crew to a familiar and new generation. While some Trekkies may have a hard time coping with the fact that the movie had miner changes done to its history the writers of this movie do a great job on explaining how and why those changes were made in the plot but what I call miner change they may call huge. This movie exceeded my expectations as a Star Trek fan and an avid movie goer the special effects were amazing and the action scenes were also incredible. I think that all people who are not familiar to Star Trek will be able to have a good time watching this movie because you don't have to be a fan to enjoy this movie. While this movie is a reboot it is exactley what Star Trek needed to reinvigorate the franchise because the last couple of Star Trek movies sucked the movie needed to have a fresh new start but it also needed to pay homage to what the original series was and the movie does that and a whole lot more and it makes it work. The whole cast is great not one person was miscast in the role they played it was really fun seeing the actors play these infamous characters. I think all fans and non fans will have a great time watching this action special effects extravaganza. It is just an all out fun movie to watch the plot is interesting and unpredictable the movie has a good amount of character development and action what more could you ask for in a summer movie. This to me is probably one of the best out of all the Star Trek movies that have been made I cant really tell if I liked it more than Wrath of Khan but its up there. One thing is for sure Star Trek is a summer action blockbuster you don't want to miss.
