Splinterheads: Critic Reviews

Splinterheads, which aims to be a quirkier Adventureland, never rises above mildly amusing.

For a better courtship story set amongst the world of cotton candy and Tilt-a-Whirls, rent Adventureland instead.

Boasts loads of playful characters, kooky conversations and gorgeous visuals in the suburban wilds to spare. Not to mention the reputed oldest man in the world, Frankie Faison as unlikely boy toy, and a crazed cop with the pathological hots for Mom.

Despite positioning itself as a Napoleon Dynamite-style comedy about a spazzy social retard, Splinterheads seems to have misplaced most of its jokes.
