This movie is pretty good, but lacks a few concepts.

I think that Speed Racer was a pretty good movie. It had tons of action scenes. I did not think it was going to be very good, but it turns out I was wrong. Speed Racer had a good story line. One of the reasons Ididn't like it was because, besides the big races, the special effects sucked. For example, when a character walks down a street, you can tell that 85% of it is animated. The other thing I didn't like about Speed Racer was that I saw who Racer X was the 2nd time he appeared in a scene, although it di throw me off on who it was towards the end. Overall, if you liked the cartoon, then this is the movie for you.

    Hey Phatlightning I think that they do leave it open for a sequel but it will never happen. This movie bombed at the box office and it had a huge budget so there was little profit. I do wish they would make a sequel though.

    I agree, this movie wasnt terrible, but it was way too CGI oriented. The ending made it seem like a sequel was possible, any thoughts?
