Southland Tales: Review By Midtown101

Ok so if you asked me both before and after i watched this movie what i though it was about the answer would be the same.......i have no idea. There was so much going on and i understood only a fraction of it.

I think this is a film that needs to be watched several times to understand it fully or even remotely.

Although i struggled to keep up with the plot i did enjoy watching Dwayne Johnson in a role where he does more than flex his muscles. And his performance is flawless; bringing alot of depth and energy which makes him wholly engaging to watch.

The film boasts an excellent cast of actors who each give engaging and entertaining performances. Most surprisingly was Mandy Moore; although having one of the smaller roles she was the most memorable and amusing, posessing a charm that is both sweet and alluring

It is the incredible talent of all the actors in this film which kept me watching to the end and would possibly bring me to watch it again to try and make some sense of this chaotic and confusing story.
