"Skyline" (2010) another film I will add to my "Worst Films" of 2010 list!!

Basic Plot: (Rip-Off from SYFI) After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air.

In a nutshell, First things first, the story is shallow and unimpressive. The characters are uninteresting. The dialogue is crummy. All this makes the under 90 minute run time a plus.

Half of the film is spent in one room while the characters go on and on and fight about what to do, how to do it, etc; all while watching this through a telescope.

"Skyline" ripped off every "Alien Invader" film ... from "Alien Resurrection" to "The War of the Worlds" (1953).

Words that come to mind to describe: "Skyline" convoluted .... Over-Hyped .. bizarre.

The ending of "SKYLINE"? Don't get be started on that. It's not that I don't "get it"... It's a bogus and ugly ending-- that only further reveals to you that you have "been had" once again. 'They' managed to lure you out of your ticket money and convinced you to waste 2 hours of your life, promising (in the TEASERS, TRAILERS) a significant, interesting Sci-fi movie which you'll also enjoy to watch VISUALLY-- only to show you in the end that that brought you into that theater seat to see an episode of some cartoony-cartoon which looks like some leftover of some cancelled video-game concept-- where you have UGLY GOOD MONSTERS (who were once human) battling UGLY BAD MONSTERS (who were also once human?).
