now I'm not gonna waste time explaining the plot because i hate it when people do that in reviews but i will say i found this a more personal story full of emotional and physical struggles for bond, but don't let this put you off the charm and witty humor makes a return along with the classic aston martin no fancy gadgets this time around though but we get a new Q who is superbly played by Ben whishaw. Craig again is on fire as Bond undoubtedly his best performance so far (as bond) Javier Bardem gives a stunning performance as bonds adversary sIlvia putting him right up there with Blofelt and Jaws. His performance was almost reminiscent of the joker from the dark knight in the way he creates chaos which i guess makes sense since Sam Mendes openly said TDK was an inspiration for him while making skyfall but sIlvia is definitely in a league of his own.
Sam Mendes did a sensational job its definitely one of the most stylish bond films Ive seen it has has all the right ingredients yet is missing one real bond girl other than that we have a memorable villain action on a big big scale with bond facing of against huge henchmen and even reptiles, the intro packs a punch and the ending comes full circle and rely makes you feel this is just the beginning of a new era of Bond. though this is all exciting stuff the question remains how much more of these movies can Danial Craig do before he throws in the towel? it will be a very sad day when he does as he is my favorite bond and probably always will be. overall i think skyfall will forever hold its place as one of the best bond movies ever made so sit back relax and prepare to be amazed bond is back.
