Silent Hill: Review By SCREENWRITER

Alright, based on a video game series I used to play when I was about twelve, SILENT HILL is a thrilling, creepy, adventure of a mother searching for her missing daughter in a small town called SILENT HILL. The movie has its good share of blood and it even has a few 'JUMPING' scenes. I must say that SILENT HILL may be one of the best video-game adaptions there is because not only does it stick the same story-line as the game but it just clicks. So, do I recommned SILENT HILL to my readers. OB-VI-OUSLY! See SILENT HILL. It's a great horror movie. Worth the watch!

ACTING:

For the acting, I liked most of the performences. One or two performences kind of bothered me but other than that the acting of this movie was fine. I didn't have any problems with the main actors of this movie. As for the acting for SILENT HILL...it was good.

DIRECTION:

The direction of the movie is dark and it looks pretty good. No shaky camera or nothing like that so I can't complain about the direction. So...the movie's direction is good.

VISUALS:

The blood in the movie was fine but some of the visuals kind of bothered me for this. Some of the terror looked a little cheesy to me so I kind had to give the visuals on this 3.5 stars. That's pretty much all the bad in this one.

THE GOOD:

The good of this movie is the creepy story and the creepy dark, jumping scenes. The movie is 126 minutes long and it really keeps you entertained.

THE BAD:

Just some of the visuals....as I already said.

OVERALL:

OVERALL, SILENT HILL is a dark, disturbing, creepy video-game turned to film adaption. I do recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a good scare and the only bad about it is some of the visuals are kind of cheesy looking. BUT, that's it! I definatly say see SILENT HILL!
