  • I want to see if there are other people who hated this movie just like I did. This movie was so boring and it was just 2hrs-and-20mins of too much talking all the way through!

I loved this movie. The awesome slow Kubrick-esque burn was awesome. See this!

  • I thought this movie was OKAY, nothing earth-shattering, but not bad either. :)

  • I just watched the movie..the movie was good, but towards the end it dragged a little&#65279 only to be picked up by its pretty good ending. Leonardo DiCaprio did play a good role, but the writers could of tried harder to make this movie more memorable.

I enjoyed it. Went in with an open mind and was in the mood for a movie like it, so I walked away satisfied. DiCaprio has been impressing me lately.

  • Maybe your ability to comprehend awesomeness sucks...
Just kidding. I enjoyed the film. Sad to hear you disliked it.
If your life had a face, I'd punch it..

  • Shutter Island was a great film. Martin Scorcese is an amazing director and Leo is one of the best actors of the decade. The film is slow-paced but for a reason. Films nowadays are just to obsessed with explosions for three hours. Don't get me wrong, I love action, but when it has a purpose, like The dark KNight. Shutter Island is for a true movie fan, who just loves a classic film.

  • I know what you're trying to say. Not gonna lie, fell asleep within the first 30mins the first time I tried to watch it (just got off a 12hr shift at work). 2nd time, I enjoyed it for what it was, but I found the overall plot predictable. I didn't hate it, didn't love it, but I will agree... at least I can finally watch Leo and not think of him as a twelve yr old trying to play someone in there late twenties/early thirties... the kid is a solid actor. I agree with Brian on this one, had a Kubrick feel to it and besides The Shinning, I'm just not a big fan.
