These are the seven deadly sins and this movie deserves seven stars. David Fincher's haunting and disturbing masterpiece is easily one of the most frightening films of all time. Led by a trio of Oscar-caliber performances from Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey, Se7en follows two police officers, one a rookie, one on the brink of retirement, on a cat and mouse chase marked by some of the most graphic and bizarre killings ever shown on camera, each one bearing a reference to one of the seven deadly sins. With time running out and the stakes raising every second, it all builds to a shattering climax that sticks with you long after the credits roll. The pace is perfect, the direction bold, and the script is wonderfully scary. Do not miss this film.
