Seven Samurai: Review By John2347

Akira Kurosawa's 1954 classic Seven Samurai is the best samurai film of all time next to Shogun Assassin. Its not a bloody violent movie of revenge its a story about seven men hired buy a poor village to protect the villages crops from a bad gang of Samurai's. Sounds a lot like The Magnificent Seven well Magnificent Seven is a remake of this movie. The film is very long its over 208 minutes long but every scene is there for a reason so a lot can not be taken out the battle at the end it very long and filled with lots of action I highly recommend this movie if you liked the Western Magnificent Seven because I think its better.
