So, this movie camed out in 2003 right, and I was 9 at the time and I was a fan of Scooby-Doo(it was just re-runs of the original show on Cartoonetwork), and when I had heard that there was a movie based on the t.v. show, so like me as a kid I begged my mom to take me to see this movie and yes she caved in. So, it's summer time and The Scooby-Doo movie was out, so my mom took my little brother and I too see the movie and I saw the movie I liked the Scooby-doo movie and since this day I still like it. So let me skip to the review for you.

The story revovles around Mystery INC. members Fred,Daphne,Shaggy,Velma, and their dog Scooby-Doo who breaks up after petty arguments, but the un-willing brought back together when a anusement park owner who hires the gang to investigate his amusement park when he believes it's haunted. But the park as really is haunted by Demons who are planning to take over the world, The gang must put a side their differences to stop the Demons plan and save the world before it's the demons last laugh. First, I like too say that the acting in the movie was very perfect and that every actor and actress fits perfect with the character they portray, esspecially Matthew Lillard who acts as Shaggy did surprisingly well with his Shaggy impression. IThe specia effects/CGI for Scooby-Doo,Scrappy-Doo,and The Demons were excellent and they all look realistic. The story line/plot is something more different than te original series, by different I mean that instead of having Fake monsters, they use real monsters and a real plot that we didn't expect from the original show. The movie's tone was a lot darker than the series such as making the monster trying to enslave the human race. But, the movie also have a dark said like Shaggy being the only human who can't got to sleep by the Demon's sleep breath but instead He gets high and when he meets his love intrest Mary Jane he states thats his favorite name, and Daphne having a eating disorder, but I gusse they did that to bring some humor in the movie. Speaking of humor, the movie had some comedic moments. I also like how the movoe give you stuff that again you don't expect from the original series, like Shaggy gets the girl and Fred and Daphne finally begins a relantionship, I also understand why they made Scrappy-Doo the main villain because too me he was too annoying, insane, and creepy so yeah I agree that make him the villain of the movie. I also like the movie's soundtrack because it's a mixture of Rock,Hip-Hop/Rap, and Raggae, I also like The song the group outkast made for the movie ''Land of a million drums'' and the raggae version and Rock version of the original theme song which I do like. So if your a fan of the original series and you want to entertain your family, I urge you to watch this movie because it's something for the whole to watch.
