I thought I knew how to rock- but I was wrong. You may think YOU know how to rock- but you'd be wrong. It took the rock-god incarnate Jack Black to show me the way- and it was good.

In his second real turn at the leading man wheel, the wilder half of the self-proclaimed greatest band on earth, Tenacious D, combines his love of music with his one-of-a-kind comedic antics. For a guy who has established himself as an counter-mainstream revolutionist who lives to expound on the topics of sex, weed, genitalia, and overall "crude" behavior, it might seem a bit odd that he'd be headlining a movie with a dozen ten year old kids. But hey, when has Jack Black ever been anything but odd.

The basic premise of this movie is nothing really original and would normally elicit knee-jerk reactions like "Here's what you can do with your opus, Mr. Holland
