From the makers of the hit Ice Age series comes Rio, a comedy adventure about taking a walk on the wild side. Blu is a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, living a comfortable life with his owner and best friend Linda in the small town of Moose Lake, Minnesota. I was enjoying the movie as I flew from West to East and the change in time zones whacked me out, so I missed everything after Blu and Jewel succeeded in having the chain broken! Did Blu and Jewel reproduce? Did Linda and the doctor ever become a couple?

although i loved the movie, there were a few set backs. throughout this year i have noticed that in some movies the producers, writers and what not have created some random yet not matchable seens. such as it mentioned in the movie that he lived with his owner for 15 years and in bird years that makes up to almost 17 years and one of the things about this movie is them trying to have (sex) to save their species and at an age like that for a childs movie. it just doesn't seem right.
i did love this movie and yes it is now my favourite animated movie, but there is alot of work that could have been done in it. i still very much hope for a number 2 and there are alot of things bluesky could do in a sequal but they ended number one in a hard way that shows its not like ice age and the next one will be much different than the first. unless they do a scene were linda either does show up in the second and she gets kidnapped by the three smugglers. or she doesn't and the movie is about blu jewel their friends and their babies.
well anything could happen, they could make another lot or not but overall i loved the movie so yeah. GO BLUESKY STUDIOS!!! ;D
