Director Guy Ritchie told a Reuter journalist Iain Blair: "Don't go and see it unless you're interested in head-tricky stuff. I wanted to take what is essentially an introspective movie and put it in a world that was not introspective -- in an underworld, in the world of cons and con (artist) tricks. The premise was that the aspects of your mind that get conned are also the aspects that will deny truth ... If you go in thinking you're getting another "Snatch" or something light and funny, you're going to trip up." ...Please Release that in Phoenix, AZ!! I have 2 years to see this!!
7 years agoby @2movieguysFlag
I have been wating for over 2 years to see Guy Ritchie's newest flick!! Please, Please movie Gods, let this film be shown in Phoenix, AZ!!! I hope AMC Theaters pulls there head out of their ass & this film shows in Phoenix, Arizona!!! I hate when a film opens in limited release (NY/LA) & then rarely goes to any other cities!!! I'm so anxious to see this one, that f*ck I'm glad it finally opens in the US after more than 2 Years!! I hope it comes to a theater & not staight to DVD, like "Swept Away"!! Just becuase some crtiics don't like a film, & it's in limited release means it's death for the film to break to a wider film market!!! I wish I was in the UK since the film has already opened up there (It was released in UK theaters on September 22, 2005), & it got rave reviews! The forgein market is more open!!! Also, as of August 2007, the DVD has only been issued in Region 2 format (Overseas) from Amazon.com!!
