he Toronto Police said that a stage on the set of the fifth "Resident Evil" installment collapsed on Tuesday, injuring sixteen people. Ten of them were actors playing zombies who were immediately rushed to the hospital.
Ambulance staff and firemen that attended the stage collapse scene had to distinguish between the actors' real wounds and the bandages and fake blood that is part of their "Resident Evil 5" zombie costumes. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
"It is with regret that we confirm this unfortunate accident," said the film's producers. "The thoughts of everyone involved in the production are with those who have been injured, and we hope that all have a quick and complete recovery."

@Georgia-DiPirro -- Yes, it is a sign. Fans of the video-game series have been asking the director to stop making movies for this series, if my memory stands correct. Obviously, he's all about the quantity, not the quality. Meh, I don't know exactly, but it's the only conclusion that someone may have caused the accident, who knows. I haven't heard of a case like this in a long time, if ever.
