i would like to update my feelings on this movie , i didn't think it was the best but i think one of the things,the main thing even, wrong was that i'm getting tired of seeing previews that make you feel like you've seen the whole movie. It's worse than reading the back of a book and standing up in front of a class and knowing how to give a verbal book report guessing the obvious spaces left out. I've been shutting my eyes sometimes when trailers pop up. Like captain america for instance ,they have already gave a good piece of the movie away. A great example how to do a trailer,check out "super eight's" , at least they didn't give the whole away. That movie was one of the best of the yr. 2011, ...amusment,and surprises all the way. well done.
take that part when john jumps out ,that was susposed to be a surprise,and those lines, they ran that into the ground in the previews, Can they not see the fasion of previews these days are ruining movies, All you can usually expect is what you see in the long drawn out comercial. ,there might be one twist or surprise left.
i say get rid of long trailers ,a teaser is perfect!

only 4 parts i like really ,3 were in preview..
guns a blazing in parking garage
..seeing ernest borgnine again
john jumping out of the bushes with conversing line with bruce
and john saying "old man my a$$"
and i wish they would stop showing most of the whole movie in previews!

see it on dvd and save your money,It was great if you you like action with guns blazing but personaly i think these actors could have been in a better movie,and what they do to morgan freeman is just wrong,i mean he could have got a metal serving trey out of the kitchen or something . They just sent him out like a duck on a pond and these jokers are susposed to be the best ,You would think they would have thought up something of a crazy escape like at the end.
i mean ,,jim brown lasted longer in the dirty dozen,just saying.

This was one of my top five films of 2010!! Bruno kills as does the rest of the cast, especially the sexiest grandma in Hollywood, Helen Mirren!! Just one fun ride with plenty of action and laughs!

The reviews for this are really good. 88% so far. My favorite quote was this one. "Compared to such generic, flashy duds as Knight and Day or The Expendables, Red goes down like a flute of fine champagne. Here's how it's done, youngsters."
