So, at number 10 is the 2007 rat cooking fantasy Ratatouille. Is this at number 10 because I hate it? No, but it's at number 10 because of a few things I am now sharing with you. Mainly, it's because this thing could have been about a half hour shorter than it already was. The film is about a rat who dreams of cooking is a very clever premise. Remy, the rat who loves gourmet food, accidentally floats to Paris, where he gets a job controlling a cook in the restaurant that once belonged to his favorite chef.
But they really could have ended the movie at the part where... (Spoiler Alert ahead)
...Remy and the chef that he is controlling, gain the deed to the restaurant. But then they added a whole other hour. So that was pretty unnecessary. Another thing was that the characters weren't that likeable, which I know is sad, but I just think they could have been a little more realistic.
Visuals were really amazing, and easily the best part of the movie. The food in the restaurant scenes looks realistic, and it always makes me hungry. Directing was pretty good, I really like Brad Bird's films, he truly is a master of animation. Story was a really good idea but it could have been better.
So all in all an okay movie, a little disappointing for a Pixar movie, and a movie that I don't think deserved the animated feature Oscar. If you've never seen a Pixar movie don't start with this one.
Grade: 84% B

Good review. I'd put this movie more at the top of the list, but to each his own.
