Truthfully 'Quarantine' isn't anything new. 'Quarantine' is actually a near shot-by-shot remake of the 2007 Spanish horror film '[Rec]'. 'Quarantine' is only the English version of '[Rec]'. I have never seen '[Rec]' because watching a horror film spoken in a different language to me is something that I wouldn't find very scary, even if it had English subtitles. If you're going to make a horror film that's spoken in a different language and send it to the U.S at least hire people from Hollywood to translate the Spanish to English, please.

I'm pretty glad that they made this remake because it's as if you're watching '[Rec]' in English. So you're basically watching '[Rec]', but this movie is called 'Quarantine'. I'm going to be telling about the movie now. I'm going to have say is if you have seen '[Rec]' and you already know it's about, then skip the paragraph after this next one. Otherwise continue reading. Actually why don't you just skip the paragraph after this next one anyways because I'll bring up the most important scene throughout the movie that makes people go psycho in the film and spoil the movie making people not want to see this and '[Rec]'.

I almost forgot to mention 'Quarantine' uses real infections in the film that make this very scary film. It does not use Science Fiction infections like zombie infections. I should be giving the credit to '[Rec]' because that's the real film that thought of the idea, not 'Quarantine'. It's not so scary when you don't find out what the infection is, but when you do it gets really jaw-dropping and so scary that it makes the first half of the film that was scary, very scary to begin with. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say here.

So a fire department and news reporters in L.A get trapped in an infected apartment by U.S military men in gas masks. In the apartment people get infected and try to attack uninfected people uncontrollably. Later on they find out that rabies is making people in the apartment go insane.

If you haven't seen '[Rec]', I suggest you see this.

The last half-hour of this movie lost me. I totally bought this until then.
