I also thought this movie wasn't that bad especially if you compare it to the last Punisher movie. It was obvious they didn't have a huge budget BUT it was gritty, raw, and violent and that is what the punisher is about.

I could of done with out that sidekick guy with the accent.

Ray Stevenson was good in Rome so I think this should be good. The movie posters with Stevenson on them remind me of the comic covers with art by Tim Bradstreet. Hopefully this version of the movie will be real gritty and urban unlike the other 2 versions. The only problem I had with the Thomas Jane movie was that it was set in Tampa. I lived in Tampa for 13 years and there is not enough "mob" crime for the likes of the Punisher.

The Punisher I hate this guy he wretches and shoots first and ask questions later really hate this comic book character his as good as a hip hop rapper in America they always shoots first then talk in their hip hop phrase over and over again that really sucks.

This is a totally different Punisher then we are used to seeing on the big screen. This is 100% straight out of the comics with no hollywood influence. There is no conection between this one and last movie. It is going to be dirty,ugly, bloody and down right nasty just like the comic books we have come to appreciate.

Thomas jane was a great actor in the first movie, but hes gone, he didnt come back. You guys, get a hold of yourselves! A woman, lexi is her name, and im pretty sure that she is doing a fantastic job of keeping this movie, with the same visualized character as we saw in thomas jane. He might be even better. Who knows... The point is, is that this movie will be a great movie. Its going to make a remarkable comeback, wen they said they werent even going to make this movie. I havent seen it yet, but if i had to rate this something outta 10, id go with 10/10, only because, they're keeping to the story plot that ended with the first film. Plus, lionsgate is a has interesting styles that match up with serious criteria that needs to be shown! Saw for instance.

i think Thomas Jane should be in the second movie, that is so stupid how directors change the "main characters and espect the movie to be good. A great movie has the same main character through out the series, and who the hell is ray stevenson, they dont even look a like. all am saying is good luck on making that movie big.
