Punisher: War Zone: Review By JR

this movie wasnt that bad, i thought the acting would be cheesy and very..very bad! BUT! i was wrong, while the acting is'nt great it is decent. and i would'nt go just to see the gore all the action scenes and gore were in the trailer.

the action and effects were ok, could have been better but still good. trust me the gore in this is rather big but i though rambo was more gory..main problem is the same as max payne not a whole lot of action. it should have had more in it. since the story is meh.

there are two actor's in the film that you would be suprised to be in this, julia benz has a small role, and that fat guy from seinfeld..lol domonic west, (300) (hanibal rising) plays jigsaw who has a bit of joker and a bit of howard saint in him. while his brother is joker on roids...in other words he eats pepole. the story is frank castle who is being kinda chased by the cop 'who' is after castle after killing a fbi agent! but thats just the side story. the main one is frank trying to end his violence by killing jigsaw and getting rid of the mob. yeah so kinda simple story and decent acting,effects...etc. one thing should be said it's not that bloody as you think, there may be a unrated version but if you go into this expecting the most intense film ever like a few other reviews on here.....your wrong! not to diss pepole but this was not as gory as pepole hyped it to be. yes it is bloody pepole get blown up in mid air with a grenade launcher and get thrown on spikes, but it felt like it was cut? most scens felt like they were edtied for a pg13 rating when the film is very gory, but if you want to see a movie cause your bored like me! then go put 5 bucks in this flick, if you liked the first punisher or rambo. also one quick note, ray steveoson was realy good better than what pepole said, although i thought it was a bit corny his hair was slicked back and wet the whole movie..lol

overall....3 stars, worth a watch might like it more with a seconed view!
