Over the top, sure. Silly, yes. Awesome, no doubt. This is the way Punisher was meant to be seen on the big screen. Brutal, gory, violent, coarse language, every thing you could ever want in a film. And none of the mushy sh*t, thank God!
Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the "Punisher Task Force" hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished. A word of warning: Dont get in his way.
A nice change of pace from all of the christmas films coming out. PUNISHER: WAR ZONE is gritty, raw, silly, and just too awesome to miss. A must see for anyone that are fans of action flicks, you will get your money's worth with this one.

Nice review, but still got my doubts. Guess I'll have to see for myself.

The Lost Girl
I had my doubts on whether or not Ray Stevenson would be able to pull of the role of Frank Castle, and from your review (and others), it sounds like he did. Gotta get to the theater and see this one as it sounds right up my alley for an action film. Nice review, Punisher.
