What a ball ache trying to mix scenes and trying to patch them together to make sense.
Possibly the most original film for its time. The dialogue is superb and sharp. Conversations about burgers and a foot massage, what would be otherwise boring to listen to, are bought to life and interesting to listen to, thanks to Tarantino's ultra cool script.
This movie put Travolta back on the map, and righty so..before this film, you would have laughed if someone said JT was going to play a hitman. But along with sidekick Samuel L Jackson they lit up the screen with menace and witty banter throughout the movie.
Bruce Willis is also excellent as the boxer on the run from the big bad guy
Marsellus Wallace played convincingly by Ving Rhames..
I am a big fan of Tarantino, but I reckon he will never make as good a picture.
I hope some day he comes up with a script as good as this, but it will have to be good, and above all else, be as original!
