Public Enemies: Review By MaximumOverspill

This new Johnny Depp/Christian Bale is a great film but I expected a lot more from this. When I first saw a trailer for this I was more excited for this than last years 'The Dark Knight'. But, this movie didn't reach the greatness leval I wanted it to. I did expect more. But, this is still a good movie. I enjoyed it very much.

ACTING:

Johnny Depp does a great performence playing John Dillinger and Christian Bale, my favorite actor, does a great performence, as usual. The acting didn't bother me in this.

DIRECTOR OF FILM:

Michael Mann: The movie's direction wasn't bad.

VISUALS:

I liked the gun scenes in this. They looked very well and cool.

The thing that made me drop this film from a 5 to a 4 was how dull this movie was. The movie is a little dull in most of the scenes and the movie wasn't exciting trough the whole thing.

Public Enimies is definatly worth the watch but a 4 is all I can score for this movie.
