Prometheus: Synopsis

Ridley Scott, director of "Alien" and "Blade Runner," returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

    @2movieguys The story/plot of Prometheus takes place 33 years before the events of Alien? I didn't know that before, that its story/plot takes place as far back as 33 years.

    I'm actually something of an Alien fan myself, and I really cannot wait to see this film. I'm very curious to see what Ridley Scott does with the Alien franchise that he created this time around. I'd like to see his explanation for the jockey in particular never-mind how the aliens themselves came into existence in the first place. P :)
