Prometheus: Review By TheFury

It takes an old school director to give you old school sci-fi. The explorations and discovery of so much eye catching visuals. Being my first movie in Imax, I was so amazed by every scene in this movie. This movie will looked on for years for it's visuals and a definite shoe in for an Academy Award for best visual effects.

The Bad

The side characters sucked and had sh*tty dialogue. Why the Hell was Idris Elba using a southern accent in this movie. This entire movie, I think, is superb. Yeah, it leaves you unanswered questions but that doesn't mean it's plot hole or a bad move. Filmmakers leave unanswered questions to keep the film memorable. Just look at The Departed and it's millions of unanswered questions. But back to hillbilly boy and his southern accent over his English accent. Why..What.. what would you need a pilot with a southern accent for. The f*ck is the admiration behind this. I don't remember Han Solo throwing around south american accents. Of all the unanswered questions, I would kill to learn the backstory of this guy and how he got assigned to being a pilot on one of the most expensive ships in the entire f*cking universe. I can hear your F*ckinG ENGLISH ACCENT THROUGH THAT SORRY ASS SOUTHERN ACCENT! WHY WAS THAT USED! IT MAY NOT BE WITHIN 5 YEARS BUT BEFORE I LEAVE THIS F*CKING EARTH A SEQUEL OR SPINOFF OF PROMETHEUS BETTER OPEN UP TO EXPLAINING WHY THIS GUY IS USING A DAMN SOUTHERN ACCENT!
