A worthy installment to the Predator franchise. I think die hard fans will be pleased.

First of all I you are probably asking yourself "is it a better movie than the AVP films?" Yes, I can honestly say it is. This movie really delivered on all fronts, especially creating CHARACTERS that so many actions films totally miss on. We I was watching, I wanted all the characters to live through this ordeal and triumph but the body count has to rise, am I right?

Now, the characters, each character was unique right down to the weapons they used, whether it be a mini-gun, a kitana or their natural instinct to manipulate the people around them. They even, managed to work in some human ideals as to what makes us human in nice re-occurring dialog such as "I'm alive...I'm human." Watch the flick and you will see.

As for the action, it's pretty brutal in parts and sticks to the classic Predator arsenal but nothing really to rave about. No certain part in the movie will have you wanting to rewind that scene over and over again to see the awesomeness on your dvd.

Now, what about the story? It might seem a little thin to you at first but really sit back and think what little tid-bits they put in there. ***MINOR SPOILER*** From references to Arnie's encounter with the mandibled bastards to what the Preds have learned from that encounter and countless others to improve their hunting skills. It's a solid story with good humor and fun but here again nothing to really write home about.

All in all a really good summer flick and my apologies for not writing a formal review with a story synopsis and such but hey am pretty goddamn sure that you know what it's about from the trailers.

Later.
