Don't get me wrong it was entertaining but Penelope Cruz ruined it for me, plus I hated how they did barbossa, and no disrespect to rob Marshall for making this his first action film but you are better off doing your famous musicals

@undeadslayer4 I think I "could" be. But, as I had said before, i'm not saying that's what happens in Pirates 5, its just a guess that I have.

@undeadslayer4 Maybe they will ? My theory for part of Pirates 5's story/plot, is that they will find a way to bring back the crew of the Black Pearl and the Black Pearl itself with Blackbeard's sword that is supposed to have some kind of magic, that Barbossa owns by the end of Pirates 4. I'm not saying that's what happens in Pirates 5 though, that's just a guess I have on all of that.

@undeadslayer4 Oh, that's true. Maybe we'll see flash back scenes of what happened that Barbossa was talking about to Jack Sparrow in Pirates 5.

@themoviefanatic I did and he said about how everyone died but it didn't say how he survived he only said I survived

@undeadslayer4 He explains how he survived all that to Jack Sparrow, when they are tied up against trees that the Spanish had tied them too. Did you see Pirates 4?

@themoviefanatic but how did barbossa survive all that

@undeadslayer4 I think Blackbeard shrunk the Black Pearl with his sword(which we don't actually see that happen in Pirates 4), that is supposed to have different powers in Pirates 4, that we don't get to see much of in Pirates 4.

I really liked all the other parts of pirates of the caribbean, but this one was really bad. The plot was in many parts inconsistent and sometimes didn't make sense. It made the impression of a movie produced just to make money

The dialogue seemed fine to me. Yes, the first and the fourth are the greatest ones.

@themoviefanatic We disagree a lot then. The third one sucked, worst of them all. First and second are the greatest, with the 4th standing on its own as good but not great. Not sure if the 5th will be good or not. The dialogue in the 4th movie felt strange so I'm not sure..

I disagree. The second and third movie are indeed the ones that were rushed, not the fourth one. I thought the newcomers of Pirates 4 were great in it. One of the Writers are re-writing the script for Pirates 5.

@themoviefanatic I liked this movie a lot, but it felt more rushed than the 2nd and 3rd. The first and second are the best of the four. The third one sucked and the fourth was good, but not great. The performances were good, I guess but I didn't like the newcomers. All and all, it was a good movie but I could careless if we got a 5th at this point.

It is an improvement over the seond and third movies, because of it having certain differences to the second and third movies. One of the differences between second and third movie compared to the fourth movie, is that the fourth movie was not filmed back to back with a fifth movie, like how the second and third movie were filmed back to back. Another thing is that Pirates 4 was not rushed into production like the second and third movie were. Also, this movie they focused more on the story/plot and the performance of the actors and actresses, like what @Movielocker said.

@themoviefanatic This one was not as good as the first one...

  23. Sean

I completely disagree with you on that. This movie is as good as the first movie. The movies in this movie franchise, that were not as good as the first one and fourth one, were the second and third movies, because they were rushed when they were filmed back to back.

this movie sucks, so Boring. Depp's performance is awful in this, the only good thing is Penelope and Geoffrey Rush

@themoviefanatic I agree! In Pirates of caribbean, they don't target the comedy part, It's all about the story + the very amazing performance of actors and actresses...
