Depp is overrated. Yes, Pirates 1 was for him what Iron Man 1 was for Downey Jr., but it's since been run into the ground and gone stale. I wish overseas audiences didn't have such easily satisfied tastes, else we might already be done with this series.

@mcleve02 What seemed so different about his acting in Pirates 3 and Pirates 4 to you? I didn't notice anything what so ever, about his acting being in any way different in Pirates 3 and Pirates 4 than it was Pirates 1 and Pirates 2.
