If your a big fan of strange old horror movies, then this is right up your alley. There's no real plot. No character development. No real resolution. No point to this movie at all.

But it is one of the great horror films ever made. To me, the sequels are much better, but I like this, because this is where it all started. Angus Scrim, as the Tall Man, should be put up there with the same class as Krueger and Jason. One thing i liked about this movie was that it was made during all the slasher horror movie buzz and didn't decide to go that way.

Although, like i said, very strange; you'll probably be saying, "huh", in your mind, more than once, especially at the end. If you do decide to watch it, and you end up not like it. I implore to watch the three sequels of this franchise. It's just an great experience to see how different this is from the rest of movie franchises. They stay so close with the characters and the Tall Man. It's like it's made to be watched all together, unlike most franchises were some of them are like standalone films and have nothing to do with their previous films.

I don't know how long the Razzies have been around, but I'm pretty sure if they were, every actor, excluding Angus Scrim, would have gotten one for this. Also, either the director was trying to hard to scare people and failed, or he was just to give a spooky feeling to the tone of the film, because i just didn't find it scary, and it has nothing to do with how old it is. A few days ago, I watched the original Halloween, which i haven't watched in almost two years, and i still can't stop looking over my shoulder, while watching it.
