Paul Blart: Mall Cop: Review By RingWraither

Let me just say, I am a Kevin James fan love King of Queens..having said that:

This is a bad film. Yes, there are just a couple of funny scenes, but honestly the entire film is just plain "eh"... NOT FUNNY.

I believe James wrote the script, and the character is ok.. only it just does not have enough for a good comedy. I realize this is a G rated film, but I have seen funnier G films than this! This is just a complete mess...

Also, I dont want to spoil anything, but the main bad guy in the film is NOT believable at all! There's no sense of danger and you dont really care what the outcome is.. it feels like you just want the movie to end immediately!

There's a scene where cops have the mall surrounded and they try to get into the mall, yet they find it impossible to get it. BUT then into the movie we see Blarts daughter walking in like if everything was fine.. are you telling me she didnt see all the cops and lights outside??

Hopefully James is not the next Rob Schneider...yikes!!
