Patriot Games: Critic Reviews

The film holds too few surprises to sustain our interest. All too often, we're ahead of the game.

The film's dominant motif is that of revenge. In a key scene, the wife tells her husband (Harrison Ford): You get him. I don't care what you have to do, just get him." From that point on, the film becomes the story of a nuclear family in imminent danger.

Not bad. Pretty intense ending.
