A well intensioned story of a viking boy lost and alone, taken in by local natives.

Triban, spiritualness, this soul film is about place and pathfinding, and what path you should take.

After an attack 15 years on, Ghost is alone, and to fend for himself, to then be bed ridden and healthy after locals find him after a great battle with the vikings.

But Ghost, has skills of a viking, and he can use these to his advantage.

Soon he heads out, with a some what slow local aboriganal and a lover, while the others scout out for some place safe, as the vikings are destoring everyone, take take hold of this land.

What follows is a well shot, beautifully designed film, full of wisdom.

But is slow going, but enjoyable, and very well done.

The blood make look false, but the story is strong, and holds a message, to find a path.

The cinematography, and phtography is grand, with mix of metal grey feel to the film, and the sound effects of the Vikings armour and horses beating hooves, and clattering of their weaponry is brillaintly realistic, and adds depth to the film, realism, true natrual sounds.

Markus Nespel here has shown what he can do instead of trashy horror flicks.

This is no masterpiece but a really good watch.

Also Moon Bloodgoods performance is grand.
