This was a very good sequel. Although it was more scream from loud noises, it is a most see movie. Make sure you have seen the first one or else you wont have any idea of what is going on.

It was a really good sequel. Very original. For the third one they should go back to when the two main girls were really young. So it would take place in the the 80s and it could be cut together doc*mentary style from VHS tapes. If they do that... then the series can end and not become completely lame and useless like say... the SAW movies.

DID NOT ENJOY!!!! number one was reallly good, then this one kinda ruined it... i was expecting sooo much more from it. and half the stuff they showed in the trailer wasn't even in the movie...

I must say I absolutely loved Paranormal 2! It took a long time to get going, I kept saying to myself "ok when is the good stuff going to happen" but I think they did that so that you would let your guard down because when things started to really happen I was pressed into the back of my seat until the very end. I thought it was great how they tied in the first one. I'll say no more, who's up for Paranormal Activity 3? (I'll bet I get some nice responses to that one, HA!)

Alright just got home from paranormal activity 2 and I have to say it was good better than the first one Atleast. I enjoyed it not saying is go see it again. Anyway I do recommend it to those that actually like the excitement of a thriller and not just a "oh there's a ghost/ demon whatever should I do ". Those get on my nerves.

Well (mainly directed at BellaNicoli) I have i very strong view that this movie was... well sh*t. And i love suspense horrors, psychological thrillers and anything that isn't just "OMG I HATE MY LIFE!! I'MA KILL PEOPLE" -blood... blood... guts.... no plot.... blood- They are fun to watch sure... but late at night and when you don't want to actually think about who did this or why. Now... i was expecting Paranormal Activity to be much better at what it was based on... but theres a limit to the suspense... The movie could have been so much better, and i realise that there was a budget limit... but i've seen some good suspense things on youtube that freaked me out a little (black box tv). Ahwell... guess it's just opinions..

I'm personally a fan of suspense thrillers more than slashing and blood and gore and guts. Some friends of mine are excited to see this but I haven't even seen the first one so I'm looking for input and everyone seems to have a very distinct view on it.

Found a premiere interview this morning on FEARnet and in it the producer, Oren Peli, says he thinks people are here for the 'creepy' as opposed to gore and over the top special effects. I think it depends for sure on what you are looking for and it sounds like people would know whether or not they would be into the 2nd one by knowing about the first. Its a franchise, its not all of a sudden going to be blood and guts.

I&#180ve seen it tonight ... the difference from part 1 is ... that the feeling you have something could happen all the time ... as in the first only something happend at the night scenes ... as 2 has also things happening in day time ... what makes it more exciting and scary to watch

I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Paranormal 2 takes it to the next level and gives you what you are looking for! I agree there was a lot of down time in the 1st one but I am really good a freaking myself out which helps in that case because I might add things that aren't really there in the movie. I'll be here posting what I think once I see the second one!

Pfizzy, I realise my comment may have come off a bit snarky.. well actually.. i was a bitch, honestly.. i don't get scared by this movie... but that doesn't mean i don't have an imagination... it just didn't grab my attention. Usually i'm all for paranormal stuff, but this didn't grab my attention... was long, took ages to get to the point, guess you can call that suspense.. but... just needed a bit more of a boost.

Also... guess you can call me desensitised to these sort of things... but i wont go into it.

The first paranormal activity wasnt all that bad especailly based on the budget it was made on. I admit the film wasnt scary but the belief in things like this can be very horrifying to a person. Everyone has their own opinion but to everyone who didnt think it was scary but went to the theaters to see it you have to admit watching people piss themselves in fear is hilarious!

I can explain why you DIDN'T think the first movie was scary, because you are one of the many hard a$$ sceptics who refuse to let themselves leave the world of logic and have there senses taken over by a movie. That is the whole point of going to the movies, to lose yourself in it and forget about your boring life for a while. If you aren't willing to give yourself completely to the film experience then you aren't going to be scared by this movie. Don't hate the people who thought it was scary, they just have better imaginations than you.

Ok.... Someone NEEDS to explain how the f*ck the first movie was so scary... I usually laugh at horrible horror movies from stupidity, but that one.. nothing.. I was bored sh*tless.. And the people that liked the first one... what other movies do you watch? You can't watch too many horror films if you got scared by this... And to the guy telling me mirrors was sh*t, how... you didn't elaborate. ok... well this movie will suck and I am not going to endorse this sh*t anymore
