One Way: Synopsis

Successful advertising executive Eddie Schneider (Til Schweiger) is very close to achieving his life-long goal: He is named a partner of New York's leading agency, Birk, and is engaged to marry the daughter of the agency's owner (Stefanie von Pfetten). But then a member of his team is raped by his soon-to-be-brother-in-law, Anthony (Sebastien Roberts). Anthony knows about Eddie's affair with a neighbor, and threatens to reveal the information unless Eddie protects Anthony.

Eddie succumbs to the pressure, even going so far as to testify on Anthony's behalf. Anthony is acquitted, but before long the Birks abandon Eddie. He loses his job and his fiancée.

Shortly thereafter, Anthony is murdered. All the evidence points to Eddie: He has a motive, but no alibi. Still, he maintains his innocence...
