I like this movie, but every element is pretty bad. The story is hardly even explained. A woman thinks that this "Nightmare Man" is trying to get inside her or something stupid. Her husband was driving her to the mental hospital. On the way, they run out of gas, so the husband leaves his wife in the car. Of course, the Nightmare Man makes a move. They never even explain where the Nightmare Man came from.

The acting is some of the worst ever put to film. That's what makes this film so funny, not scary. That's why I like it.

The directing is ok... I guess. Nothing TOTALLY bad, but nothing even close to good either.

The visuals are bad too. The mask that the Nightmare Man wears is cheese. The deaths and blood/gore all look incredibly fake. But overall, I love it. I don't take it seriously, I take it as comedy, not horror.

You may not know this is 1 of 8 of the After Dark Horrorfest: 8 Films To Die For. I have seen all 8, and I have come to the conclusion that this is the best of them.That's my opinion. I'm sure others think that this is the worst. Just don't take it seriously, and I think you may like it.

    ok your 4.5 stars make more sense having read your review. This movie was he next 1 of 8 films I was going to watch. they just moved them to the 1.00 section at my video store.Which with my half price rentals card make them even cheaper.

    I was thinking that this was 1 of those "8 Films To Die For," considering that's all I could picture in my head when I first read somewhere in the last hour that you reviewed this movie. I like how you reviewed it, as a comedy in stead of as a horror. That's what I'd do for all the F13 movies after Part 3.

    When I saw the trailer, I was expecting something serous... not this, so I was dissapointed, because I like serous stuff better, but we all need a good laugh now and again.

    Maybe someone will see the potential I see, and make a remake of this film, and make it GOOD, not funny.

    Interesting ha ha. for some reason that's funny. If you are a fan of piece of crap horror flicks, you definatly have to check out this one.

    It's in a group of 8 others. Have you heard of the AFTER DARK HORRORFEST: 8 FILMS TO DIE FOR?
