Never Back Down: Review By Midtown101

Really cheesy but a decent film. Even though it looks like a complete guy film it appeals equally to girls, probably because the guys are seriously ripped and fight with their shirts off.

It has a predictable outcome; the nice guy (Jake Tyler) gets the beautiful girl while his witty "side kick, adds some comedic value to the film, and the, overly c*cky, popular man about campus is brought down.

"Never back down" follows the same formula as many other films in the "teen movie" genre; Good vs Bad, Good wins and the bad are changed, for the better, by the experience.

Although this film follows along the same lines as many others and can easily be compared to other films, such as Karate Kid and Fight club, its still something different and enjoyable to watch. Plus it has awesome fight scenes and a killer soundtrack.
