Mystery Team: Review By The Boondock Saint

the film centers on three high school students who have always dreamed of becoming real detectives since they were seven. when they were kids, they were known as heros, but now that they are adults, people find them annoying and almost mentally retarded. one day, a girl comes to them asking them to find the murderers of her parents. this starts a plot driven with strippers, digging for rings in sh*t filled bathroom stalls, buying an cocaine, and dealing with murderers. we follow the characters of Jason (Donald Glover) the master of disguise, Duncan (D.C. Pierson) the boy genius, and finally Charlie ( Dominic Dierkes) the strongest boy in the neighborhood. i know most of you guys out there are already planning on ignoring this film at all cost, but wow, this is just a hilarious movie. the hardest ive laughed in the longest time. its actually smarter than you'd think, while still having jokes that do fall flat, but not enough to bring the film down a grade. it's much funnier than ANY of the mainstream comedies that came out last year ( coming from some one who did not like the hangover) and pleases on all levels. this just came out on dvd, and i can tell you right now , i want to get it the first chance i get. and i would reccomend it to anyone out there, especially if you think that this sounds stupid, you are the people who should check it out the most!
