'Mission: Impossible' Review By Ghostman
Based off the hit 1960's TV series, comes the first film in the action packed franchise.
Set in 1996, Ethan Hunt is framed for not only the murder of his fellow IMF agents during a Prague Embassy mission gone wrong, but is also wrongly accused of selling government secrets to a mysterious international criminal known only as "Max".
Instead of my previous reviews this'll be more of a "mini-review" short, sweet and straight to the point. So without rambling on too much about how good this movie is let's jump right into the action.
Mission: Impossible, is one of those fun action movies filled with explosions, cool gadgets, and clever script. Top notch acting from Tom Cruise, Jon Voight, Henry Czerny as Kittridge, and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. Granted they are really good actors they all blend well together and make all the pieces fit perfectly where they don't feel disjointed.
Tom Cruise, this guy does all of his stunts and truly proves to us that he can most likely "out-run" anything that gets thrown at him. Jon Voight proves worthy as his performance is a small but important role. Czerny is a nice choice for IMF Director Eugene Kittridge. Also you can't go wrong with having Ving Rhames in the movie. He's the coolest character in the movie.
Onto the action, the action is real impressive. Nothing too much and nothing too little is presented. You know this is an action movie and you know that this is a M:I movie so expect plenty of satisfying action. From beginning to end their's enough to make your heart pumping with excitement.
With a well written story, fantastic acting jobs done by Tom Cruise, Jon Voight, Henry Czerny and Ving Rhames the first out of four Mission: Impossible films is an action packed classic featuring crazy gadgets and amazing stunts, this mission is one you should choose to accept and take on one wild ride!
