Second time this has happened to me. I say I'm going to see a movie, that i really don't want to see. I wait and wait; and finally, it's gone. I don't really pay attention to it, until the first time it happened. I missed out.

Cloverfield, my first slip up; didn't really want to see it in the theatres and so i missed out. Then I saw it on dvd and blown away. The same thing happened with this movie. I can't f*cking believe this. Found out my father had cable, so i decided to go over and smooch off the luxury. I went to the free On demand Movies and found Meat train; said to my "hey i remember this". So i started watching it, and as soon as the movie beginned, i got into it. The blood, gore, typical Barker atmosphere. Whether directing, producing, or writing this guy has some skills. After watching this, I'm willing to bump Wes Craven down to the number 2 slot and move Barker to one, of my top list of Masters of Horror. The most gutless, bloody, slasher director there is. I wish he would direct a Saw film.

Anyway, magnificient storyline; it got better and better as it went along. I put 2 stars for acting because there wasn't much dialogue, too me, in this film, which i thought was good and unnecessary anyway, given the tone of the movie. Please, Ryuhei make more American movies, your the best. To top it off, the best visuals. Pro of being trapped in a speeding, bullet subway train, with a killer, you don't have to worry about a psycho, jumping out at you around the corner, all you do is look in one direction. Con of being trapped in speeding, bullet subway train, with a killer, is your trapped in a f*cking speedy train, with no freakin stops and not to mention a mad killer is after to butcher you up.
